Dr. Nadan is a well-known “Innovation Sherpa” and innovation scientist who invented, innovated and/or worked on many products and services including eZPass, CD-ROM, Reuters Triarch™, and 16:9 HDTV for which he and his Philips’ team received a 2002 Emmy Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement. Currently, he is Professor, Management of Business and Technology Innovation at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, and Chief Innovation Scientist of the International Association of Innovation Professionals. He has a PhD in Computer/Electrical Engineering from the City University of New York followed 13 years later by an Executive MBA in consumer behavior, marketing and strategic planning from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
A successful change-agent, who enjoys functioning in challenging industrial and academic environments, with 25+ years C-level experience in the Financial Services and Consumer Electronics industries, and 15+ years experience in higher education administration, research, and teaching.
